We often get asked why does the Empire Zoysia that has just been purchased and laid look different to what is displayed on our website. The above picture is an example. The answer is simple :


When this turf is dehydrated the blades will roll up from the outer edged which give the grass a finer appearance.

This can happen after it has been laid and is an indication that the grass requires more water. Water the grass and then check the appearance after 20 - 30 minutes. If you are still concerned then contact us, but within that time the grass should recover and return to its normal appearance.
